Chevron Rubber Conveyor Belts
Chevron belting is used in applications where the incline angle of the conveyor is steeper than would normally be recommended and may result in material slipping or falling back. Chevron belting has special profiles moulded to the top cover, making increased angles possible in comparison to smooth-finish belts.
Typical applications for this type of grooved belting includes mobile crushing and screening plants, or where the material may have the tendency roll easily.

Applications:
- Approximately 30 degrees for slightly rolling materials, ie; gravel, coal, etc.
- Approximately 40 degrees for clumping or sticky materials ie; wet sand or earth.
- For greater inclined angles, side wall belting may be more suitable.
